Also known as “Indian frankincense,” boswellia (Boswellia Serrata) is an element commonly used in ayurveda (the traditional medicine of India). Sourced from the resin of the boswellia tree, boswellia extract is rich in boswellic acid (a substance with anti-inflammatory effects). In herbal medicine, boswellia is typically used to treat arthritis ulcerative colitis asthma coughs menstrual cramps. A main benefit of Boswellia Serrata with high boswellia acids (70% +) with digestive diseases like crohn’s disease, diverticular disease, colitis, IBS, reflux, GORD.

Extracts are Superior to standard powders. Herbalists recommend extracts for their quality and high active ingredients.
