The camu berry can have concentrations as high as 50,000 ppm or about 2 g of vitamin C per 100 g of fruit. That means that the camu berry provides 50 times more vitamin C than an orange. Referred to as a superfood, Camu may be high in anthocyanins and other powerful antioxidants. Camu berry may be used by Nutritionists with conditions including gum disease, inflammation, respiratory and cardiovascular conditions, lupus, viruses, low immune and eye health.
